Enlisted in the United States Army in July of 1990. Attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training was held at Fort Gordon Georgia as Combat Signaler. First duty assignment was in Kitzigen and Wurzburg Germany in the 703rd Main Support Battalion and the 103rd Military Intelligence Battalion as a Combat Signaler. In 1993 did a Permanent Change of Station to Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield and was assigned to the 1-24th Aviation Battalion as a Signal Support System Specialist. In 1996 did a Permanent Change of Station to Korea assigned as the Company Communications Sergeant for Echo Company 702nd Main Support Battalion. In 1997 did a Permanent Change of Station to Fort Benning Georgia where and was assigned as a Battalion Communication Chief for the 1-29th Infantry Battalion and a Drill Sergeant for the 2-47th Infantry Battalion. In 2001 did a Permanent Change of Station to Fort Gordon Georgia where and was assigned to the Noncommissioned Officer Academy as a Senior Small Group Leader for the Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course. In 2003 did a Permanent Change of Station to Baton Rouge Louisiana where and was assigned to the New Orleans Recruiting Battalion as a Recruiting Station Commander.  In 2008 did a Permanent Change of Station to the Atlanta Recruiting Battalion as Recruiting Station Commander and retired from the United States Army in July 2010. After retirement worked for the Gwinnett County Police Department’s Code Enforcement Unit for one year before getting hired as the Army Instructor at South Gwinnett High School from 2011 – 2015. Currently I serve as the Junior Leadership Corps Instructional Coach at Lilburn Middle School.
